Fight the signs of ageing with the Rio facial rejuvenator
Used regularly, the Rio facial rejuvenator can tone for a more youthful look. The system uses salon micro-current technology (EMS muscle toning and ion infusion) to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while firming and toning your skin.
Combining these two expensive salon treatments, the facial rejuvenator offers a complete home treatment regime to reduce the visible signs of ageing on the face and neck , such as crow’s feet, smile lines, double chin and forehead lines.
The Rio facial rejuvenator for EMS toning
Before starting, remove all make-up from your face and neck and fit the foam caps to the wand heads. Turn unit on and set the intensity control to ‘low’. Select the EMS toning programme (the EMS light will flash).
Dip foam caps into the conductive gel. Too little gel can make the treatment less comfortable. With both wands touching your skin, follow the procedure for your selected area (see “EMS treatment areas” section below).
Increase the intensity level until you feel definite muscle contractions. Note: Pads should not be placed on sensitive parts of the body or over scars, broken skin, moles or varicose veins.
EMS treatment areas
In the EMS toning programme the wands have no polarity. Either wand can be used in either position shown. The intensity level may vary depending on which area you are treating. Below are some examples of how to use the Rio facial rejuvenator for EMS toning.
Forehead lines
Holding one wand stationary move the other toward the hairline and hold for two seconds. Repeat process across forehead.
Under eye bags
Position both wands below the temple. Keep one stationary and gently move other wand in a loop approximately 2 cm below the eyelid. Repeat 4–6 times on each eye.
Crow’s feet
Position both wands 2 cm from the outer corner of eye. Keep one stationary and move the other away from it (along the crow’s feet). Repeat 4–5 times.
Double chin
Position both wands at bottom and centre of neck (avoid your Adam’s apple). Keep one stationery and move the other up towards the top of the neck. Repeat process again moving around the neck 5 mm each time.
Smile lines
Place wands either side of nose at the tip of the smile lines. Move wands slowly and simultaneously down each smile line toward corners of mouth. Repeat 6–8 times.
The Rio facial rejuvenator for collagen infusion
Collagen infusion accelerates the skin's absorption of collagen and sodium hyaluronate ions in the collagen serum formula. These ions are essential for the maintenance of firm and youthful skin.
Before starting, remove all make-up from your face and neck and plug the wands into the wand socket. To check you have no adverse reaction, initially treat a single wrinkle/line and wait for 24 hours. Note: For all collagen infusion programmes you must remember which wand is which polarity.
Step one
Using the programme select switch, select the wrinkle zone to be treated, indicated on the face diagram. The unit will beep intermittently.
Step two
Set the output mode to positive by pressing the polarity select button until the (+) indicator has illuminated.
Step three
Start with the intensity control at ‘low’. Note: You may find you need to adjust the intensity level when treating different areas of the face.
Step four
Dip foam caps into collagen serum. Start with the wands together at one end of the wrinkle. Keep the positive wand stationary and glide the negative wand slowly along the wrinkle. Repeat three times.
Step five
Move the positive wand along the wrinkle by about 10 mm. Again, glide the negative wand slowly along to the end of the wrinkle. Repeat three times.
Step 6
Continue this cycle until the positive (+) wand reaches the end of the wrinkle.
Step seven
Repeat steps 4-6 with the negative (-) mode selected. Repeat steps 4-6 with the alternating (~) mode selected.

I saw the difference a couple of days after using this product, my face feels firmer and more toned. The toning treatment is really relaxing, the anti-wrinkle does take a bit longer, but is worth sticking to. Rio Facial Rejuvenator - Reduces the Apperance of Fine Lines & Wrinkles

It's a bit fiddly to use, and the lotions that are necessary for the equipment to function properly are a bit messy. However considering the price it's not bad value.
